Durro, where stone and history merge in every corner.
Durro is located on the Noguera de Tor valley at an altitude of 1,395 meters above sea level, and a little far from the main roads. Etymologically the name comes from the Basque DURRU and means "far away".
Although it was an independent entity, in 1965 it joined the municipality of Vall de Boí. Today, it is a Decentralized Municipal Entity together with the nucleus of Saraís.
