Jerez de los Caballeros, a medieval jewel that preserves the charm of another era.

Jerez de los Caballeros is a municipality in the province of Badajoz, in the region of Sierra Suroeste, with a historic center of great monumental character and an unmistakable silhouette marked by its towers. Its identity is closely linked to its medieval past: after the final reconquest by Alfonso IX (1230), the town was under the custody of the Order of the Temple, which left its mark on its defenses and in the local imaginary.
