Covarrubias, a medieval jewel that preserves the charm of another era.

Covarrubias, declared a National Historic-Artistic Site in 1965 and Historic Site in 2001, gathers in its houses, in its streets and monuments, and in its natural environment, Celtiberian, Roman, Visigothic, medieval and Baroque essences, which make it one of the most interesting and emblematic places in the province of Burgos. The rachela villa was awarded in 1978 with a Tourism and Beautification award, in 1979 with the Europa Nostra award for the preservation of its historical heritage and in 2015 with the Golden Antenna - Culture by the Federation of Radio and Television Associations of Sp
