Castro Caldelas, where stone and history merge in every corner.
The village of Castro Caldelas is located in the heart of the Ribeira Sacra of Ourense, on a hill overlooking the banks of the river Edo.
The village has always had beautiful white galleries and emblazoned houses that show us the rich medieval splendor. The Prado Square is the main entrance to the Old Town, walking through its narrow cobbled streets we can learn about its history through the stately houses with coats of arms crowning their facades. These steep streets, which during the spring are full of color, lead us to the fortress, the most visible symbol of the history of Castro Caldelas
