Vilafamés, a medieval jewel that preserves the charm of another era.
Vilafamés is one of the most unique historical sites in the interior of the province of Castellón. Its old town, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, stands on a hill crowned by the castle and preserves a medieval network of narrow streets built with the characteristic stone rodeno.
But Vilafamés is also a place where different periods of history coexist: from prehistoric sites and cave art declared World Heritage by UNESCO, to one of the most outstanding contemporary art museums in the Valencian Community, the Museu d'Art Contemporani Vicente Aguilera Cerni (MACVAC).
