Betancuria, between the sea and tradition, a place with soul.

Betancuria was the first city founded in the Canary Islands and the first capital of the Canary Islands, until 1834. Located in the valley of the Betancuria Massif, a rural park, it is one of the least deserted areas of the island, as well as the least populated municipality of Fuertaventura, with less than 800 inhabitants. It is the town with the greatest historical and artistic interest of the island. One of its main attractions is the Archaeological Museum of Beancuria, where the traveler can see how the ancient inhabitants of the island lived.
