Barranco del Reguero Waterfall
CASCADAThe Barranco del Reguero waterfall is a small waterfall and pool associated with the ravine of the same name, in the Hoz de Alpuente, within the municipality of Alpuente (Valencia). It is a natural resource of fluvial and scenic typology, linked to a narrow gorge where the course of the water models walls and bends of great visual interest. The main interest of the place is in the combination of waterfall, pool and gorge, which offers one of the most recognizable scenes of the Narrows of the Reguero Ravine. The environment allows to observe the relief of the ravine, the erosive action of the water and a riverside landscape very conditioned by the valley, with a short route and of simple visit from the nucleus of Alpuente. Due to its location and the quality of the whole, it is an outstanding point within the natural attractions of the municipality. The sources consulted place it as one of the most beautiful corners of the Hoz de Alpuente and describe it as a pool and waterfall in a narrow section of the ravine. It should be taken into account that it is not a space prepared as a bathing area and that the access runs through a narrow and uneven environment, so it is of particular interest to visitors seeking scenery, photography and reading of the territory rather than intensive recreational use.

Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Piedad
Iglesia / ErmitaThe Church of Nuestra Señora de la Piedad is the parish church of Alpuente, in the province of Valencia, located in the Plaza de la Iglesia in the historic center, with the coordinates indicated. The patrimonial denomination also appears as archpriestly church in inventories and monumental repertoires of the Valencian Community. It is a single nave church built between the 13th and 15th centuries, in the context of the Christian reorganization of the town after the conquest of Jaime I. Its construction responds to a medieval architecture in which successive constructive phases are recognized, and its octagonal bell tower preserves the oldest remains, dating from the fourteenth century. Among its most outstanding heritage elements is precisely this octagonal bell tower, one of the most unique features of the building. In the 17th century the Communion chapel was added, which confirms the continuity of use and the devotional transformations of the temple throughout the Modern Age. The building is part of the monumental ensemble of Alpuente, a historic town with a strong medieval character, together with other assets of the municipality such as the castle, the wall and the Aljama tower. Due to its urban implantation and its historical trajectory, it is one of the religious and patrimonial references of the old town.

Museo Etnológico de Alpuente
MuseoThe Ethnological Museum of Alpuente is an ethnographic museum located in the town of Alpuente, in the province of Valencia, in the Valencian Community. Its exact location in the town center, in La Fuente, links it to a historic building reused for museum use, a frequent solution in small inland heritage centers. The museum is housed in a 14th century Gothic bread oven, which operated until the last third of the 20th century and preserves Gothic arches of notable architectural interest. This reuse of the heritage allows the building to be read as part of the exhibition discourse itself, combining a historical container and an ethnological collection in the same space. The institution presents materials linked to the traditional culture and daily life of the region: farming tools, blacksmith's and carpenter's tools, and objects related to the production of bread and sausages. The museography highlights the value of cereal cycles and traditional rural society, with special attention to the forms of community work and subsistence in a difficult mountain environment. Because of its content and its historical location, the museum is a heritage resource of interest to learn about the economy, trades and domestic practices of Alpuente and its surroundings. Its relevance derives both from the ethnological value of the collections and the medieval building that houses it.

Museo Paleontológico de Alpuente
MuseoThe Paleontological Museum of Alpuente is a municipally owned museum dedicated to the dissemination of paleontology and, in particular, the fossil heritage recovered in Alpuente and in the region of the Serranía de Valencia. Its function is expository and didactic: it presents dinosaur bones, fossils and basic concepts to interpret the paleontological findings of the area. The museum is located in the old Santa Barbara Chapel, in the town of Alpuente, a building that has been restored for museum use. The sources consulted do not give a precise chronology of the construction of the hermitage, so no specific date or architectural style of the building is given without risk of error. The creation of the museum responds to the scientific and patrimonial interest of the paleontological sites of Spontina and the will of the City Council to preserve and disseminate this legacy as a tourist and educational resource. Its collection is made up of specimens recovered from excavations in the area and contributions from local residents, reinforcing the link between research, local memory and territory. The visit is always guided, which confirms its interpretative rather than merely expository orientation. Due to its content and location, it is one of the most unique cultural facilities in Alpuente, associated with the paleontological heritage that distinguishes this Valencian municipality.

Torre de la Aljama
Torre / MurallaThe Aljama Tower is a tower-door integrated in the old walled enclosure of Alpuente, in the historic center of the municipality, above the current headquarters of the Town Hall. It is the most outstanding vestige of the old Muslim aljama and functioned as the main access to the town, also articulating government and contracting functions. Its origin is medieval, linked to the Andalusian and late medieval period; the sources place it as one of the fourteen towers of the wall of Alpuente. In the 16th century a large town hall was attached to it, so the complex combines defensive architecture with later civilian uses. It also preserves documented elements of interest, such as the halls of Courts and plasterwork of the fourteenth century. Traditionally linked to the local administration, the tower has maintained for centuries a strong institutional centrality in the life of the town. Today it continues to be one of the most representative heritage landmarks of Alpuente, within the protected walled complex of the municipality, and is still in good condition.
