Viniegra de Arriba, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. Discover its magic.
Viniegra de Arriba, summit of Las Siete Villas (1182 mts.) located in the middle of the mountains of La Rioja, is in the south of the province of La Rioja, in the high course of the river Najerilla. It is watered by the rivers Ormazal and Castejón and surrounded by peaks that reach 1800 meters (Rastraculos, La Muela, Añiquete, etc.) and the Urbión peak (2228 meters) bordering the province of Soria. Livestock is the main activity of the municipality, although its herd is clearly lower than in the past. Sheep predominate over cattle and horses.
