Vilanova dos Infantes, the essence of Galicia in every street.
Vilanova dos Infantes is a medieval treasure stopped in time in the heart of Ourense. Strolling through its cobbled streets is to travel directly to the time of the Infantes de Carrión, surrounded by a stately architecture that retains all its essence. The great protagonist is its imposing Torre del Homenaje, the only vestige of the old castle and today a living museum of its history.
This village stands out for its stone houses with balconies and the Church of San Salvador, but its soul lies in tradition: it is famous for its artisans "zapateiros". A unique corner of Galicia.
