Potes, located in the heart of the valley of Liébana and surrounded by spectacular scenery, is undoubtedly one of the most charming villages in Cantabria. It is the meeting point of rivers and cultures, of people and illusions.
The town of Potes is rich in history. Documented since the ninth century, it was linked to the noble houses of the Marquis of Santillana and the Infantado.
