Mogarraz is a Historic and Artistic Site, located in the heart of the Natural Park of Las Batuecas and Sierra de Francia; Biosphere Reserve. Because of its natural isolation MOGARRAZ has preserved its civil and military architecture in perfect condition. It is a medieval village built and repopulated in the eleventh century by French, Gascon and Roselloneses, provenance manifested in their surnames of Gallic origin.
