Llastres canyons viewpoint

1. Llastres canyons viewpoint

Llastres had an ancient fortress, El Castillo, protected by six cannons. Over time, these fell down the hillside and some were reused as mooring posts in the reconstruction of the port. During the port expansion, two cannons were rescued and placed on wooden carts on the breakwater. From this viewpoint you can contemplate the profile of the town and the bay at sea level, in a place full of memory and privileged views.
Atalaya Viewpoint

2. Atalaya Viewpoint

This natural balcony, located above the old port and next to the fishermen's quarter, was a key point for coastal surveillance and fishing. From here, it seems possible to touch the port with your hand. Once upon a time, it was the place where families eagerly awaited the arrival of the boats. Its strategic location offered a privileged view of the sea, making it a place charged with emotion, history and seafaring tradition.
San Roque viewpoint

3. San Roque viewpoint

This is, without a doubt, one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Llastres. From the top, the view opens to the sea with the majestic Sierra del Sueve in front of your eyes. To one side, the Chapel of San Roque, patron saint of the village, accompanies the scene. It is a place where time seems to stand still, ideal for sitting on its benches and contemplate for hours a landscape that excites and connects with the essence of the Asturian coast.
Lighthouse viewpoint

4. Lighthouse viewpoint

This viewpoint is accessed after walking a charming path through meadows. When you reach the wooden balcony, the saltpetre of the sea permeates the air and the horizon opens up before your eyes. On clear days, you can even see the nearby fishing port of Tazones. Sunsets, especially in summer, are unforgettable from this place, which combines nature, tranquility and privileged views of the Bay of Biscay.
Penayu viewpoint

5. Penayu viewpoint

Before being made popular by a popular television series, this viewpoint was already appreciated by those seeking the best views of the Sierra del Sueve, the bay and the port of Llastres. Located at a higher altitude than La Atalaya, both lookout points are affectionately known as "El Penayu" and "El Penayín", as if they were cousin-siblings. From here, the landscape unfolds in all its grandeur, making it one of the most emblematic corners of the village.
