Clock tower

Chinchón

POI

Clock tower
In this place was located the Parish Church of Our Lady of Grace, the oldest of Chinchón as there is evidence of it as early as the fourteenth century. It was destroyed during the War of Independence, saving only the tower, and for that reason there is a popular saying that says "Chinchón has a tower without a church and a church without a tower". The Clock Tower remained standing although throughout history it has undergone several restorations. In the first, which took place in the eighteenth century, the clock was placed, but the most important was carried out in the nineteenth century.
