Capileira, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. Discover its magic.
Capileira from the Latin capillaris-e, which means hair, related to head, that is, the highest point of the ravine where it sits. It is located south of the province of Granada, is located in the heart of the Alpujarra and within the Sierra Nevada National Park, for its location we could well consider it as "Puerta de Sierra Nevada" for its southern slope.
Nestled on the left bank of the Poqueira River Valley, better known as "Barranco de Poqueira". Its location, and its altitude of almost fifteen hundred meters offers the best views of the ravine from the various viewpoints it has, from here
