Bulnes, a parish that belongs to the municipality of Cabrales and with just over 30 inhabitants, can only be reached by funicular or walking along a narrow and steep road, which has allowed it to maintain its heritage and great beauty.
The traditional buildings of Bulnes are dressed in limestone, which contrasts with the red clay roofs, and with its wooden windows and doors of the area, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of a municipality that treasures goods inventoried in the Cultural Heritage of Asturias, such as the Castle Tower or the Church of San Martin de Bulnes.

Hermitage in the neighborhood of La Villa. It is part of the religious heritage of Bulnes and the landscape of the village, nestled among the mountains of Cabrales.

High neighborhood of Bulnes, separated from La Villa by a road of about 600 meters. It offers the best panoramic views over the village and the Picos de Europa.

Trail that descends to Poncebos (about 4 km, medium difficulty). Spectacular channel with views of the mountains. Alternative to the funicular for those who arrive or leave on foot.

From Bulnes you can see the Naranjo de Bulnes (2,519 m), emblematic summit of the Picos de Europa. Starting point for routes to the Urriello refuge, Sotres, Fuente Dé and Pandébano.
