La Marina, Morer Vermell and Can Cap de Bou Morer Vermell This area of the coast of the Bay of Pollença maintains all the charm of yesteryear. It is a peaceful corner that invites to conversation and rest, it is a quiet and very familiar place. Under its transparent waters there are sandy and rocky bottoms of little slope and depth, where children can play and swim in complete safety. It is a beach with fine sand, rock and seaweed, about 200 meters and the environment is made up of residential houses. La Marina and Can Cap de Bou Surfers and anglers are the most common users of this beach located next to the road that connects Alcúdia with Port de Pollença and also coincides with the beginning of the Natural Reserve of l'Albufereta. It is a narrow beach of just a few meters deep, but of great length. The sand here takes on a leaden coloration and mixes with the pieces of posidonia seaweed that the sea and the strong wind bring to the coast. It is a beach of very reduced slope and exposed to the force of the sea. The winds of Tramuntana and Gregal have a special role in this place and for that reason many lovers of water sports such as windsurfing or kitesurfing come here. On windy days it is a real spectacle to watch these sportsmen practicing their acrobatics in the sea.
