The Origin

A shelter that was born by looking up

Nido de las Estrellas It stems from a simple idea: at the “Valle del Jerte,” the show doesn’t end when the sun goes down. Five bubbles and cabins suspended among century-old cherry trees, facing the sky, with no light other than that of the night itself.

Each space has been handcrafted using local wood, with minimal impact on the landscape: no foundations, no outdoor lighting, no noise. The valley streams in through the transparent dome, and no two nights are alike.

There’s no reception desk or hallways here. There’s a path winding through terraced cherry orchards, a breakfast basket at sunrise, and a breathtaking sky that makes every moment here a special occasion.

You can only experience it here
The Experience

A night unlike any other

From sunset to sunrise, every moment is designed so that the setting does the rest.

  1. 7:30 p.m. · The Arrival

The path through the cherry trees

Leave your car down below and walk up through the terraced fields. When you arrive, a glass of pitarra wine awaits you on the terrace as the valley glows orange.

  2. 9:00 p.m. · Dinner

    The Valley Pantry

A basket of local produce delivered to your bubble: goat cheese from Jerte, in-season cherries, wood-fired bread, and a stew served piping hot in a cast-iron pot.

  3. 11:30 p.m. · Nighttime

    All-Star Game

The last lights along the trail go out. From bed, whether through a telescope or with the naked eye, the entire Vía Láctea comes into view. In winter, with a blanket and hot chocolate.

  4. 7:45 a.m. · Sunrise

    The Valley Wakes Up

The fog rises from the gorge and drifts beneath your cabin. It’s the favorite moment for repeat visitors: the entire valley in silence, all to yourself.

  5. 10:00 · Breakfast

Basket at the foot of the cherry tree

A local breakfast delivered right to your door: cherry juice, homemade cake, mountain honey, and coffee brewed in a pot. No set times, no rush.

The morning fog rolling past the cabin is something you never forget. We'll be back in the spring, when the cherry trees are in bloom.
