Cementerio de La Muedra

The Cemetery of La Muedra is the last material witness of the old village of La Muedra, flooded by the Cuerda del Pozo reservoir after the progressive abandonment of its neighbors. The complex preserves a small necropolis linked to the old town, located in the surroundings of Vinuesa, in the heart of the Pinares region, and today functions as a place of memory of the disappeared village.[3 The most interesting thing for the visitor is the contrast between the silence of the funerary enclosure and the surrounding landscape of reservoir and scrubland.
