Doors of the Villa River · Yanguas
MULTIEXPERIENCIA
The River Gates are one of the most evocative vestiges of the medieval wall that protected the town of Yanguas. These ancient entrances, now open to visitors, take us back to the times of knights and strategic defenses. They flanked the passage to the river and were part of the walled enclosure that protected the town. Strolling through its stone arches allows us to imagine the daily life of a remote past and to understand the importance of this Soria enclave as a defensive bastion in the Middle Ages.
