MULTIEXPERIENCIA
About 1.5 km from the town center stands the Ermita de Santiago, a simple eighteenth-century temple that houses the image of the local patron saint. Every July 24 it is taken to the town in procession and returns on the last Saturday of August, in an emotional popular tradition. This enclave also stands out for its historical value: here was signed in 1854 the parchment of constitution of the former Confederation of the Cinco Villas and Valle de Canales, and in 1994 the statutes of the current Collective of the Seven Villas of the Alto Najerilla, symbol of identity and territorial union.
