The Ermita de la Soledad is a hermitage of religious character located at the south entrance of Viniegra de Abajo, next to Somera Street and in the urban center of the Riojan municipality. It is identified as a small temple linked to local devotion and is part of the historical heritage of the town. According to the sources consulted, its coordinates are 42.14994, -2.89021, which confirms its location within the center of Viniegra de Abajo, in La Rioja. The construction dates from the 18th century, so it corresponds to the religious architecture of the late modern period. It is a simple masonry building, with a single nave and rectangular chancel. The roof has a hipped wooden structure, while the chancel is covered with a lowered barrel vault. Among its outstanding elements are the access by means of a semicircular arch protected by a portico and the brick belfry located on the foot area. Its austere composition and its reduced scale are typical of the rural hermitages linked to the daily and religious life of small mountain towns like Viniegra de Abajo. The sources consulted do not provide a closed stylistic ascription beyond its eighteenth-century chronology and its typology of traditional hermitage; therefore, it should be described as an eighteenth-century hermitage of popular construction, integrated into the local religious heritage of Viniegra de Abajo.

The Ermita de Santiago is a hermitage or church of minor worship located in Viniegra de Abajo, in La Rioja, within the rural environment of the Alto Najerilla. The resource is precisely located at coordinates 42.15396, -2.89534, in an elevated position with respect to the town center, which reinforces its traditional role as a religious and scenic landmark of the village. From the available documentation, it is a small temple linked to the local devotion to Santiago. A report from 2025 on the restoration of its altarpiece confirms the existence of this altarpiece, an outstanding heritage element of the interior, although it does not provide a complete construction chronology of the building. The localized information does not allow to fix with certainty the century of factory neither to attribute a concrete architectural style to it without incurring in interpretative excess. It is known that the hermitage is part of the religious heritage of Viniegra de Abajo and that it has received recent conservation interventions, which indicates its continuity in use or, at least, its patrimonial relevance for the locality. Its interest lies both in the minor religious architecture of the highlands and in its value as a testimony of the popular religiosity linked to the ancient communities of the Siete Villas.

The Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción is the parish church of Viniegra de Abajo, in La Rioja, located on Calle de los Huertos, very close to the center of the town. The presence of these pieces indicates the historical continuity of worship in the village and the accumulation of movable goods from different periods. Overall, it is a temple of Renaissance roots, with later construction phases, which is part of the most representative religious heritage of Viniegra de Abajo and retains a central role in the historical and devotional identity of the town.
