Las Puentes Recreation Area · Valverde de los Arroyos

An attractive recreational area next to the stream that flows down from the Chorrera de Despeñalagua, alongside the road coming from Tamajón (GU-211). The walking paths, picnic areas, bridges, and wood-fired oven are all built from stone and slate. An ideal place to relax, listen to the murmur of the water, or sit down to enjoy a snack. Although there are designated areas for making fires, lighting fires is not permitted during high-risk seasons, and it is not recommended the rest of the year due to the risks involved.
