Ecocultural Corridor on the road from Trevejo to Jálama · Trevejo

Decree 190/2016 of the Junta de Extremadura incorporated this corridor into the Network of Protected Areas. Its 16.3 km route, paved in many sections, links Trevejo with Villamiel and San Martín de Trevejo, up to the Jálama peak. It crosses protected areas such as the ZEPA "Sierra de Gata" and the ZEC of the same name. Its landscapes of oak trees, orchards, olive groves, vineyards and terraces show the natural and cultural richness of the environment.
