Cruz de Timagada Viewpoint · Tejeda
MULTIEXPERIENCIA
From this vantage point you can see the town of Tejeda, spread out on the slopes of the imposing volcanic caldera of the same name. Unlike the towns on the mainland, in the Canary Islands the buildings were built next to springs or water sources. In the background, the imposing silhouette of Roque Nublo dominates the landscape. The slopes are covered with almond trees that, in bloom at the end of January, dye the surroundings white and pink. This beauty is celebrated since 1970 in the Fiestas del Almendro en Flor, declared of National Tourist Interest since 2021.
