Las Cucharas Beach
PARAJELas Cucharas Beach is a coastal sandy area of Costa Teguise, in the municipality of Teguise, on the east coast of Lanzarote. It is a semi-urban or urban beach, linked to a consolidated tourist front, with fine sand and a stretch of coastline that several reports describe between 400 and 700 meters long, so it is convenient to take these figures as approximate according to the source consulted. Its main attraction is the combination of bathing, coastal scenery and water sports. The references consulted agree that the stretch is fragmented by volcanic rock breakwaters, which generates areas with different exposure to waves and favors more sheltered areas for bathing, as well as sectors that are very popular for surfing, windsurfing and other water activities. It is interesting to visit because it offers a very recognizable image of the tourist coastline of Lanzarote: promenade, beach services and an environment open to the Atlantic with clear waters and sandy bottom. It also appears in specialized tourist pages as an outstanding beach of Costa Teguise and is cited with Blue Flag in several of these sources, although the official confirmation of the distinctive does not appear in the results provided. It does not appear in the sources reviewed that it is a specific protected natural area or an associated local legend. Its value lies mainly in recreational use, sports practice and the role it plays as the main beach of Costa Teguise within the coastal landscape of Teguise.

Jablillo Beach
PARAJEPlaya del Jablillo is a small urban beach of sand and rock located in Costa Teguise, in the municipality of Teguise, on the east coast of Lanzarote. Its coordinates place it next to the coastline of the tourist center, in a very accessible and sheltered from the waves. Some descriptions place it with about 150 m in length, although other sources offer different measures, so it should take that figure only as an approximate. What makes it unique is its character as a cove sheltered by a breakwater, which leaves very calm waters and favors family swimming and snorkeling at low tide. The environment combines golden sand, shallow bottoms and rocky sectors, with a semi-urban beach environment where the promenade, adapted access and nearby services are part of the visiting experience. Its interest is not so much landscape of great isolation as recreational and coastal: it offers a clear reading of the urbanized coastline of Costa Teguise, with good shelter, easy access and intensive use. For demanding visitors, it stands out for the quality of its calm waters and the possibility of observing small marine environments in shallow waters, especially at high and low tide. In the tourist documentation consulted, it also appears as an accessible and very frequented beach, with lifeguards, showers, hammocks and a nearby public transport stop. The sources reviewed have not found a specific figure of environmental protection associated with the site itself, beyond its value as a coastal space for public use in the municipality of Teguise.

Salinas de Guatiza
PARAJELas Salinas de Guatiza is a coastal area of Teguise, in the northeast of Lanzarote, associated with ancient coastal salt pans and a very open landscape of puddles, salt plains and reflections of water and salt. In the informative and geological bibliography they also appear with other local names, such as Las Salinas de La Caleta, Los Agujeros or Los Charcos, which helps to place them within the environment of Costa Teguise and Guatiza. Its main interest is scenic and geological: the combination of low coast, surfaces excavated to obtain salt and the contrast between dark tones of the terrain and saline whites creates a very characteristic scene of Lanzarote. The geological route Costa Teguise-Salinas de Guatiza includes them as a last stop, which reinforces its value as an observation point of the eastern coast of the island and the relationship between coastal relief and traditional land use. For the visitor, the most visible thing is the set of ponds, pools and remains of the salt exploitation, with a very marked presence of calm water and reflections, especially attractive in certain lights. The place is interesting because it unites landscape, productive memory and reading of the territory, in a context of strong insular identity. There is no specific environmental protection figure for this site in the sources consulted, but it is recognized as a natural resource and its presence in local inventories and guidebooks of Lanzarote.
