Street "la iglesia" (the church) · San Martín de Trevejo
MULTIEXPERIENCIA
In the center of the village stands the church of San Martín de Tours, from the 17th century, with three naves and ashlar walls. It houses three panels by the painter Luis de Morales and a majestic altarpiece from the 18th century. Also of note are Baroque images of St. Peter and St. Paul, and carvings of great value such as the Virgin of the Star or the Immaculate Conception. Next to it, the Casa de los Ojestos (18th century), with a linteled doorway and traditional cobblestones, hosted in 1910 the philologist Ramón Menéndez Pidal during his studies on the Xálima Fala.
