Julián Gayarre House-Museum
MuseoThe Julián Gayarre House-Museum is a museum dedicated to the memory of the Roncal tenor Julián Gayarre, located in the neighborhood of Arana de Roncal, Navarra, in the house where the artist was born. It is a historic house adapted to a museum function, directly linked to the singer's biography and to the conservation of his personal and documentary heritage. The building was extended by Gayarre himself in 1879 over the house in which he was born, and was later converted into a museum, inaugurated in 1990. The typology of the resource is, therefore, that of a museum-home or house-museum, rather than that of a monumental building with a defined architectural style; the sources consulted do not specify a specific stylistic language for the construction. The permanent exhibition is organized on several floors and gathers personal objects, photographs, scores, decorations, costumes and documentation related to his artistic career. The exhibition provides a chronological overview of the life and career of one of the great tenors of the 19th century, closely linked to the cultural identity of Roncal and the Pyrenean valley of Navarre. The management of the center is linked to the Julián Gayarre Foundation, created with the participation of the tenor's family, the Roncal Town Council and the Government of Navarre, with the aim of preserving and disseminating his legacy.

CASCADAThe Belabarze Waterfall is a mountain waterfall located in the Roncal Valley, in the municipality of Roncal/Erronkari, in Navarra. Its usual access is from Isaba by a circular path of about 10 kilometers, of moderate difficulty, which runs through a Pyrenean landscape of rugged terrain, rainforest and stretches of mountain riverside. The waterfall is part of a well-known itinerary in the valley and is usually associated with the Ibón Cave, another point of interest along the same route. The most valuable part of the visit is the contrast between the forest path and the moment when the water appears embedded between rocky walls and dense vegetation. The environment stands out for the beech and fir trees, very present in this area of the Navarre Pyrenees, and for the fresh and humid character of the place, which explains the presence of an attractive waterfall in times of flow. The interest of the resource is both scenic and excursionist: it allows to know one of the most accessible and photogenic corners of the valley, with a signposted route that concentrates several elements of natural interest. The Roncal Valley is also a territory of great environmental richness and has numerous figures of protection, which reinforces the value of this waterfall within the whole of the Navarrese Pyrenean area.
