Plaza Mayor · Roda de Isábena

The Plaza Mayor of Roda de Isábena houses the cathedral of San Vicente, the oldest in Aragon and one of the smallest in Spain. Of Lombard Romanesque origin and built in the 10th century, it was enlarged over the centuries and declared a National Monument in 1924. In its surroundings are preserved masonry houses with semicircular arches, a Romanesque cloister with funerary inscriptions and an oil mill of the eighteenth century. The complex is completed with a hotel and restaurant integrated in the old Episcopal hostelry.
