The Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, parish of Robledillo de Gata, is a sober construction of the XVI century. It has a rectangular floor plan with a single nave divided into four sections, covered by a simple wooden gable roof. One of its most outstanding elements is the beautiful Mudejar coffered ceiling that covers the sacristy, considered a jewel of the rural heritage of the region. This church, which is part of the historical complex of the town, belongs to the Diocese of Coria-Cáceres and depends on the parish priest of the nearby town of Cadalso.
