The sober facade of the Church-Colegiate Church of Pastrana contrasts with the majesty of its interior. Built over a Romanesque church of the 13th century, it was enlarged in later centuries. Its main doorway, with an ogee arch and pinnacles, reflects the architectural evolution of the temple. Elevated to collegiate church in 1569 by Pope Pius V at the request of the princes of Eboli, it houses the pantheon of the ducal family. Inside, the main altarpiece, the baroque organ from 1703 and a valuable collection of tapestries from the 15th century in the Parish Museum stand out.
