Parauta, gateway to the Genal Valley and the Sierra de las Nieves National Park, stands out for its Moorish layout, irregular streets and whitewashed houses without plaster. The urban tour begins at the entrance of the village, signposted with QR codes. Among its key points: the church of the Immaculate Conception, the threshing floor of the Piñuela, the Valdecillo oak (more than 300 years old), historical fountains such as the Fuente Alquería or Pozuelo, the sculpture of Omar ben Hafsún, the Fuente Alquería viewpoint and a peculiar Mudejar arch. The walk ends in the corner "BÉSAME EN PARAUTA", romantic icon of the municipality.
