Sierra de las Nieves National Park · Parauta

Declared a National Park in 2021, this natural area stands out for its karst geology, peridotite outcrops and the presence of the Spanish fir, a unique fir tree in the world. It covers 22,979 ha and eight municipalities, including Parauta. Its natural wealth coexists with a valuable historical legacy: farmhouses, castles, orchards, irrigation ditches and mills. From the Conejeras Campsite you can access routes such as Las Escaleretas or the Conejeras Circular Path, among oak forests, pinsapos and dolinas. It is ideal for hikers and lovers of biodiversity.
