This traditional washhouse with six basins, located under the Tinao, reflects the popular architecture of the Alpujarra. Built in masonry and covered with launa and slate slabs, it stands out for the use of local materials such as magnesian clay. More than a functional space, it was a social meeting place and testimony of the link between water and daily life. To visit it is to immerse oneself in the history, identity and know-how of Pampaneira.
