A flat, paved area about 150 m from the bars and restaurants in the town center; a playground about 90 m away. Walk to the historic center: about 10–15 minutes (steep street). No waste disposal or water refill in the municipality: Pampaneira does not have an official service area, only free overnight parking lots such as Bubión and Capileira. Closest verified equipped area: “Entre Sierra y Mar” in Órgiva (~12 km, Carretera de Albuñol s/n): water, gray/black water disposal, electricity, showers, and washing machine (private area, ~€14/night according to AreasCamper 2026). In the Upper Alpujarra, it’s advisable to plan for waste disposal in Órgiva or along the route toward the coast.

Access:

Just south of town, next to the A-4132 (entrance from Lanjarón / Órgiva). Paved area with marked spaces and night lighting. Free parking; overnight stays are permitted without setting up awnings or tables outside the vehicle. If full (weekends and holidays), use the alternative parking lot on the A-4132 (see the second entry for the town).

Day and night parking with no amenities; convenient for exploring the town on foot (~1 km to the town center). Paved or compacted ground next to the road; there may be some light traffic noise during the day. No public restrooms on the parking lot premises. For waste disposal/refueling: “Entre Sierra y Mar” area in Órgiva (~12 km).

Access:

On the side of the A-4132 at the entrance to Pampaneira, before the main parking lot at C. José Antonio. A small open area next to the road; limited capacity (about 3–6 spaces, according to reviews). An alternative when the main parking lot is full.
