The dinosaur in the Alameda is an Allosaurus, a carnivorous dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous period. It is a life-size replica. This dinosaur could weigh between 2,000 and 3,000 kilos and was one of the most important predators in the area. It is also linked to the dinosaur footprints discovered in 1987 on the hill of Vallivana.
