Sant Miquel Portal

The San Miguel Towers are the main entrance to the city of Morella. These twin towers, with octagonal bases and built in the 14th century, are a prominent feature of the walled structure surrounding the town.

A Gothic civil building, it has received the Europa Nostra Award for restoration. Of particular interest are its two Gothic halls (the Consell and the Justicia) and the Lonja. It has served as the town hall since the 15th century.
