The royal street and its traditional architecture · Molinaseca

The Calle Real, or Calle de los Peregrinos, is the historical artery of the town. It runs along the route of the Camino de Santiago from the Puente de los Peregrinos (Pilgrims' Bridge) to the Crucero del Santo Cristo. It preserves its ancestral essence with stone houses, wooden balconies, slate roofs and emblazoned palaces such as the Cangas and Pambley. The narrow alleys, barely 50 cm. long, stand out. On the way, the Plaza del Rollo invites you to pause between arcades and traditional architecture.
