MULTIEXPERIENCIA
Located in the municipality of Camaleño, Mogrovejo is a picturesque Cantabrian enclave declared an Asset of Cultural Interest and Historic Site since 1985. At 460 meters above sea level and with the Ándara massif as a backdrop, this village preserves an admirable heritage of mansions from the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries, built in ashlar and masonry, many with wrought iron balconies and monumental entrances. Highlights include the Mogrovejo Tower, the parish church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción -with a Baroque altar, a 16th century crucifix and a Gothic-Flemish image-, and the mansion of Vicente de Celis. In 2017, it received the award of "Town of Cantabria".
