The Moorish Arch is the only surviving gate of the ancient medieval wall of Medinaceli. This vestige offers a valuable testimony of the Muslim period, when the town was located on the border between the Christian and Muslim kingdoms. Its structure, sober and full of symbolism, has survived the passing of the centuries, becoming an emblem of the historical memory of the town.
