The castle stands as a symbol of local history thanks to its imposing medieval tower, which dominates the landscape and evokes its defensive past. At its feet is preserved a subway cistern, witness of the architectural ingenuity that ensured the water supply to the fortress and the town. This complex not only reflects the strategic importance of the place in the Middle Ages, but has also been consolidated as a heritage reference. In 1949 it was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, reinforcing its role as a historical emblem and living legacy of the community.
