Santa Lucia Chapel · Linares de Mora

The Chapel of Santa Lucía is a small religious building dating from the early 19th century that stands out not so much for its monumental scale as for its integration into the historic district of Linares de Mora and its connection to the old hospital and the Portal Alto. It forms part of the traditional urban landscape that characterizes this town. Its location is also linked to the Portal Alto, one of the three surviving medieval gates of the old city wall. This gate provided access specifically to the Hospital neighborhood, where the old hospital and the Chapel of Santa Lucía are located. Today, the chapel has lost its original religious function, and the building is used as a space associated with the old Hospital.
