Between a legendary tree and a secret waterfall

Set in a stunning natural setting, starting in the town center of Linares de Mora, are two of the area’s most striking scenic attractions: the Pino del Escobón and the Cascada del Molinete. The entire route, from the village to the Pino del Escobón and the Cascada del Molinete, covers a total distance of approximately 5.5 kilometers and is easy to navigate, making it an ideal way to enjoy nature in an accessible and peaceful setting. The trail starts in Linares de Mora, gradually winding through increasingly natural surroundings until it reaches the majestic Pino del Escobón, designated a “Singular Tree of Aragon” in 2015. This unique specimen, over 400 years old, is the tallest Laricio pine on record in Aragón, reaching a height of 28 meters, and is one of the trail’s major highlights. Along the way, the river landscape enhances the experience with the sound of flowing water and the presence of natural pools and small waterfalls, which enrich the surroundings and add great scenic value. The route ends near the old Molinete flour mill, which is now in ruins. After circling around to the back, you’ll discover a hidden spot where the spectacular Molinete Waterfall appears—a stunning cascade that puts the finishing touch on this route from Linares de Mora.
