MULTIEXPERIENCIA
It is the only preserved gate of the old wall of Ledesma. Also known as the Martyrs' or the Boilermakers' gate, it has two peralted arches flanked by cylindrical cubes. It was built in the time of Fernando II over Roman remains. According to legend, Saint Nicholas, son of the Moorish king Galofre, was martyred here after converting to Christianity. A church was erected in his honor in the former friars' field.
