Nestled in the Sierra de Altamiras, surrounded by pines, oaks and chestnut trees, stands a unique temple of the fifteenth century: the Ermita de la Santa Cruz. Only 4 kilometers from Guadalupe, this small Gothic construction, with a square floor plan, is reminiscent in its structure of the famous temple of the Royal Monastery. Declared a National Monument in 1931, it stands out for its architectural details on each of its faces.
