MULTIEXPERIENCIA

The Church of the Holy Trinity, known as the New Church, was built between 1730 and 1736 under the patronage of Pedro Nuño Florentín, descendant of Christopher Columbus and minister of Philip V. The project was the work of Manuel de Larra Churriguera. Of baroque style, it has three naves and a great dome with lantern over the transept. After being abandoned by the confiscations of 1835, it was restored in 1978 and today it is used as an auditorium and exhibition hall. Its baroque facade and its monumentality make it one of the heritage emblems of Guadeloupe.
