Historic center (XIV-XVI centuries) · Guadalupe
MULTIEXPERIENCIA
Much more than its emblematic monastery, Guadalupe was declared a Historic-Artistic Monument in 1943 for its architectural and cultural wealth. Born around the Royal Monastery in the fourteenth century, its hamlet grew with medieval layout, winding streets and mountain architecture. Houses of adobe, ashlars and wooden balconies make up a unique urban landscape. The Colegio de Infantes, the network of old hospitals, the Iglesia de la Trinidad, the Jewish quarter and the remains of the wall stand out. All this makes Guadalupe a historical treasure beyond its sanctuary.
