Textile Museum (19th century) · Grazalema

The Grazalema Textile Museum pays tribute to a centuries-old tradition linked to merino wool, an essential fiber in the making of blankets and cloths that made the town famous. These pieces, used in agricultural and livestock work and sent to Jerez or Seville, reflect the textile boom of past centuries. Today, the old factory houses a free exhibition of spinning, weaving and finishing machinery, where visitors can learn about the artisanal process that gave life to the mythical blankets of Grazalema, in an environment that preserves the essence of this rich local heritage.
