The Centro de Artesanía del Valle del Genal promotes the cultural and touristic development of Genalguacil, a town where art and tradition go hand in hand. This space is home to local artisans who, thanks to the Art Encounters, have found a place to create and exhibit their work. Esparto, wood, cork and stone are local materials that nourish a craft that is in danger of disappearing. The center has become a tourist attraction where visitors can learn about ancient crafts, acquire unique pieces and feel the creative soul of this corner of the Serranía de Ronda.
