MULTIEXPERIENCIA
The Parish of Santa Ana, jewel of the north of Tenerife, was built between 1532 and 1542. Of its original construction, only part of the presbytery remains, which was enlarged centuries later. After the eruption of 1706, it was rebuilt by Manuel de Penedo, the Elder, combining Plateresque and Renaissance styles. The interior, with three naves and Mudejar ceiling, has a classicist altarpiece presided over by a Crucifix by Martín de Andújar and polychromy by Juan Excroft. Also noteworthy are the carvings of Santa Ana and San Joaquín. It can be visited next to the Sacred Museum, with brochures in several languages.
