Uxama Archaeological Hall
MuseoThe Aula Arqueológica de Uxama is a museum or interpretation center located in El Burgo de Osma (Soria), at the foot of the site of Uxama Argaela, in the area of Alto del Castro and next to the river Ucero. Its function is to introduce visitors to the history of this archaeological site and to serve as a prelude to a visit to the Uxama complex, one of the most important Celtiberian sites. The space presents, by means of panels, models, recreated environments and audiovisual resources, the evolution of the settlement of Uxama from its Arevaic or Celtiberian origin to the Roman stage and the medieval presence. Also on display is the reconstruction of a Roman house and a virtual theater that recreates scenes of daily life in the Roman city. Uxama was a Celtiberian-Roman city of great strategic importance, located on a hill that dominated the territory and the valley passes. Heritage sources indicate that the Roman city developed over the ancient Areva settlement and that the archaeological site was destroyed and reformed in different historical stages. The classroom is part of the municipal cultural offer of El Burgo de Osma and complements the visit to the site itself and to the interpretative space of Antiqua Osma, in the old Hospital of San Agustín. Its main interest is informative and archaeological, bringing together in a single resource the historical memory of Uxama and its territorial context.

El Burgo de Osma Cathedral
CatedralThe Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption is the cathedral church of El Burgo de Osma, in the province of Soria, and the main religious monument of the town. Its location in the town of Burgo de Osma is linked to the medieval development of the urban center, which arose next to the episcopal see of Osma and under the protection of the new population created around the temple. It is a building of medieval origin whose construction began in the thirteenth century, on a previous Romanesque temple, and whose current appearance responds to a long succession of reforms. The Gothic style predominates, although it incorporates Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassical contributions, with some parts being completed in the 18th century. Among its outstanding patrimonial elements are the cloister, the tower and the cathedral museum, in addition to its rich collection of sacred art, which is very well indicated in the local patrimonial guides. The cathedral was declared a historic-artistic monument in 1931, a condition now equivalent to an Asset of Cultural Interest, which underlines its relevance within the historical heritage of Castilla y León.

Hermitage of La Magdalena
ERMITAThe Ermita de la Magdalena is a small rural sanctuary located in the high surroundings of El Burgo de Osma, in the province of Soria, at an altitude of about 950 meters. Due to its location, it also acts as a natural viewpoint over the town and the valley, which makes it a very visible point in the immediate landscape of the municipality. It is a simple hermitage, linked to the hamlet and the local religious tradition, more appreciated for its position and views than for its great architectural complexity. From this high point, the urban area of El Burgo de Osma and its mountainous surroundings can be seen, a panoramic view that helps to understand the historical relationship between the town and the surrounding relief. Its interest for the visitor lies in this combination of modest heritage and landscape reading: it is a brief place to visit, useful to recognize the layout of the town and stop to contemplate the territory. The local reference itself presents it as a high chapel with a natural viewpoint, which explains its presence in hiking and walking itineraries through the municipality. In the context of El Burgo de Osma, a historic municipality in the region of Tierras del Burgo, the hermitage fits into a cultural landscape where religious heritage and the natural environment are part of the same visiting experience. The sources consulted do not include a specific figure of protection for this building, but its value as a local landmark and as a point of observation of the urban area is clear.
